Fill Out The Form
Fill out the quick contact form on the contact page. Include your preferences in terms of session type and style, location, etc. I’ll be in touch within 24 hours.

Contract and Payment
We’ll have a call or meeting and once all details are confirmed, we’ll sign a contract and you’ll have to pay a non-refundable retainer. I'll send you a questionnaire to fill out - your answers will help me in planning your session.
03.
Planning and Session
You’ll get a detailed client guide with all the tips, recommendations and things to keep in mind while preparing for your session. Wedding clients - we'll schedule a one on one meeting. I’m always available for a call if you have questions.
04.
Gallery and Prints
Two weeks after the session (Eight weeks for weddings), you’ll receive an online gallery with all your photos and the possibility to order premium print and albums.

Q: How many photographers work within Film and Fiesta Photography?
Most of the time, I am a one-woman wolf pack, which I prefer. I do, however, love to work with second shooters from time to time for Weddings, and have included a second shooter in my Premier and Classic Collections. Having two photographers is a great option, as it is much better to have one to be with the groom and one with the bride as they are preparing. Also, there will be two angles during the ceremony, meaning no important moments will be missed. As I don’t have a permanent second shooter, I’ll book another local photographer who is available for your date, I know a few amazing ones! However, I do all of the post-processing, from backing up images to album delivery.
Q: What equipment do you use?
I am a Nikon lover! I shoot with a Nikon D750, and I have a Nikon D610 as a backup. You’ll always find me switching between my prime lenses, my Sigma Art 35mm, Nikon 58mm, and Nikon 85mm. For outdoor ceremonies, I tend to use my 70-200mm lens to not be too intrusive. As I am a natural light photographer, I only use speedlights/external light sources when absolutely necessary, which is usually at the reception. All my equipment is kept clean, is serviced once a year, and is fully assured.
Q: How does payment work?
A non-refundable retainer fee of 25% of your chosen collection is due upon booking. The remaining 75% is due 7 days before the session/wedding. I do offer a monthly payment system that allows you the luxury of paying off your wedding photography in smaller stress-free amounts. Please contact me for details.
Q: If we cancel the session or wedding, will we receive our retainer fee back?
Unfortunately no. Retainer fees are used to reserve your date. Once I’ve reserved your date, I do not accept new clients for your date. However, I am more than happy to put your retainer fee towards another session, to strictly take place within 3 months from your original session or wedding date. If 3 months have passed and you'd like to book again, you would have to pay full price for a new session.
Q: Do you offer discount for weekday sessions or weddings?
Yes! I do! A whopping 15% discount! Discount will be applied automatically to your invoice. This excludes weekday holidays and is only valid for sessions booked for a weekday from the start - and not for sessions booked on a weekend that has to be rescheduled for any reason. This offer stands for weddings, elopements, and couple and family sessions.
Q: Do you charge for travel and accommodation?
I charge R5.00 per kilometer if the session/wedding is more than 20km from Haenertsburg, and accommodation costs if the wedding is more than 100km from Haenertsburg. Accommodation does not need to be fancy and expensive, just safe and reliable. You can book it for me, alternatively, I can book it and send you an invoice.
Q: How many photos will we receive?
The amount of photos you receive depends on the package you choose, hours of coverage, the time schedule for the day, and the number of guests. All of my wedding photography packages include delivery of high-resolution professionally edited digital jpeg images on a USB flash drive. Generally, you can expect 60-80 edited images per hour of shooting time. Family and couple sessions can expect around 60-80 edited jpeg images in an online gallery.
Q: How long will we wait before we receive our images?
For couple/family sessions, please expect one to two weeks. For weddings, please expect four to eight weeks. Albums generally take a few days to design, and two to four weeks to print. Editing is a timely process. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions, and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.
Q: Do we get to keep the negatives/RAW files?
No. I provide you with the selected, edited high-resolution digital jpegs (the digital equivalent of negatives). I do retain the copyright to the images and the right to use them for promotional purposes, competitions, professional reviews, and so on. The digital jpegs are yours to make unlimited personal reproductions and copies for your friends and families. The raw, unedited files aren’t available for viewing or purchase. Please rest assured that every viable raw image is edited carefully and delivered.
Q: Do we need to feed you and give you a place to sit at our wedding?
I love wedding food and I LOVE wedding cake! It’s one of the many perks of being a wedding photographer and I will forever be grateful to share in your delicious wedding meal. Food keeps me happy, and it provides me with the much-needed energy for dance floor photos. However, it is not a requirement for you to provide me and my second shooter with a meal. If this is the case please communicate so beforehand and I will be happy to pack some snacks. I don’t require to sit with your guests, but I do need a place to put down my equipment and regroup. The closer I am to the action, the more chance I have of capturing the action.
Q: Do you really tear up at every ceremony and dance at every reception?
Yes! I am a sucker for the big moment when the bride walks down the aisle. I get goosebumps, my heart beats faster, and yes, always a tear or two! So brides, please don't run down the aisle, walk slowly, take it all in, and let me have my joyous teary moment behind the lens. If there are nice dancing vibes at the reception, I will dance! Camera in hand! Please don't let me dance alone though, come join me so that I can get some great pics of you on the dance floor!
